Our Broad General Education Awards Ceremony took place on Thursday 5th June 2014.  This event aims to recognise the academic and personal achievements of students in S1 to S3 with well over 100 students receiving recognition.

Thanks go to the Armadale Academy Concert Band and Choir for providing the musical interludes and to Dawn Group and HDM School Solutions for their generous sponsorship of the evening.

Our principal speaker on the evening was Mr Murray Elliot.  Murray is a West Lothian resident and London 2012 Paralympian in Archery.  Murray spoke about his experiences; his challenges and achievements and skillfully linked his story into key messages for the students present about the skills and qualities required for success.

Mrs Carol-Anne Johnstone was presented with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of her role as Parent Council Chair.  Carol-Anne retired from this role at May AGM.
