    Technologies relates particularly to contexts that provide scope for developing skills, knowledge, understanding and attributes through creative, practical and work-related activities.  Technology is the application of knowledge and skills to extend human capabilities and to help and satisfy human needs and wants.  In these circumstances it has, is and will continue to be an essential component of a nation's economic prosperity.

    Learning in this curricular area promotes research, problem solving, exploration of new and unfamiliar concepts.  Students will develop their creativity and entrepreneurial skills and be encouraged to become innovative and critical designers of the future.

    Main Subjects in Senior Phase: Computing Science, Design and Manufacture, Graphic Communication, Practical Metalwork and Practical Woodworking

    BGE – Work through the ‘Hour of Code’ tasks

    All Senior Phase Students should refer to the SQA past paper website and work through question papers at the relevant level

    Work through material on Edmodo/BBC Bitesize where appropriate.
